According to Nagual Juan Matus:

“What we need to do to allow Magic to get hold of us is to banish doubts from our minds.  Once doubts are banished, anything is possible.”

The Lesson:

Clinging to the self-defensive routines of your normalcy is what gives you doubts about the reality or efficacy of the dubious and difficult path of Nagual Shamanism, the magical way of the Spirit of Power.  It is this normalcy clinging that makes you reach out and grab onto some Eastern Teaching and its particular line of Big Concepts covered in the things of exotic mechanical culture.  You decide to believe in “Non-duality” or “Zen Enlightenment”, but nothing really happens that would radically change your way of life or the position of your consciousness.  So, you just wind up killing time and wasting your life as a “spiritual person” riding a conceptual hobby horse without real Magic in your life.
