Sometimes the Immortal Goddess will appear as a rather pretty but ordinary woman doing something ordinary in an ordinary situation.  If the man attracted to her were to fully see what is attracting him, he would have a nervous breakdown when he arrives home.  Who knows when we will be tested by an Immortal Being?  Of course you are one of those complacent and dull people who never worry about these kinds of possibilities.

Stranger-than-fiction magical things happen in your world all the time, but you do not see them for the same reason that you have difficulty with some of the notes you encounter here.  Anyway, just go to the next note with a little more alertness.

Sometimes I myself appear as an ordinary man doing something ordinary in an ordinary situation.  Occasionally it so happens that one of my readers is there and does not know it is me.   Later, when that reader gets home, he or she knows there was something very unusual about me, but they cannot put their finger on it.  Imagine a reader of this very note suddenly thinking: “Was that you there?   The Notes Author in person?  And did you even predict it today (months in advance) just for me?   What are you doing to me?  This is unbelievable, uncanny and weird!  What kind of a being are you?   What is all this really about?”  And then imagine all the poor readers who never get an uncanny personal appearance, who have to content themselves with mere tales of Power, doomed to be endlessly left stranded in the dreary and boring familiar world where miracles never happen for them.   Maybe you should try to be more aware and alert.
