TAKE NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Year Two
SESSION ONE HUNDRED AND
FORTY-SEVEN

Can you learn to read notes, or anything else you do, in a totally fresh new way?  Or will you allow yesterday’s readings, yesterday’s experiences, to veil and distort your present, living emergent reality of consciousness and life?  Every note, every event in your life, has something crucially new about it.  Are you aware of this constant emergence of the new?

Wherever you are succeeding, wherever you are happy and fulfilled, is like riding a tiger.  To ride a tiger means that you must remain extremely alert and balanced without letting what is happening for you to go to your head!  You must not become arrogant and careless, for all such tiger-rides tend to be finite adventures with a beginning and an end.  Anything good and pleasing should be seen in the Big Picture of your life, of your struggles and your still urgently needed areas of self-change and greater effort.  Riding the tiger is an energization of a greater opportunity.  What is your important opportunity?

Do you know how to make maximum use of a period of solitude? Nothing great can happen for you in relationship if nothing great is happening for you in solitude, such as when you are sitting in the sauna or out in nature somewhere.  Do not go to the next note without your direct solitary self beyond your social relational self.

Many of our restless readers will often go to stupid, shoddy places instead of staying home and trying to make contact with greater truth or higher guidance of the Spirit beyond.  You are therefore being asked here if you are becoming truly different, a real individual, or are you still letting yourself drift to destruction with the masses through empty entertainments and meaningless socializing?
