Are you listening to the real meaning behind the words of this note or are you merely reacting to your initial interpretation?

If you want to awaken in a remarkable way through all this, then you have to psychologically walk away from the dull world of normalcy.  This requires the panoramic comprehension of an outsider, an alien.  Only then does life have a real and total meaning; only then does the beauty of your present planet reveal itself; only then is a love relationship more than mere physical pleasure; only then can you perform work or action without neurotic tension.

Are you taking real action on what you are learning through all this?  Are you a good example of what real living is about? Think about this before you read the next note.   Is it enough to be merely entertained or mentally stimulated?

Just as you would carefully examine a purchase you are about to make in a store or shop to make sure nothing is wrong with it, so you should take any teaching from anywhere, including here in notes, and examine it carefully in your own inner truth as to its actual value for your own learning, growth, realization and action or effort.  Higher receptivity is not the same thing as gullible, uncritical acceptance of whatever is supposed to be authoritative, reputable or traditional.   Popularity is an especially weak indicator of significant teaching, for the vast majority of seekers are ignorant, selfish and foolish.   Something is always wrong where huge numbers flock.
