TAKE NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT

SESSION ONE HUNDRED AND NINE

Whatever your reading technique or manner of judging what you hear may be, you better realize that you are not even grasping the real essence of this statement, let alone those that are to follow. So, your best bet is to take one step backward before you consider going forward into the next note, which is pure Zen.

What actually heard this?

Forget the previous statement.  There is an even better question you must answer: what is still hearing this?

Keep up your Zen hearing, but this statement has gone, gone, gone beyond, gone completely beyond.

Enough of Zen and Mahayana Buddhism.  Make now a real beginning in something before you try to read the next message.

You have no idea, for instance, what it would be like to take your first realbreath.  The way you are breathing so far is just a slight improvement over complete suffocation as a kind of semi-suffocation.  Try to connect with this fact before reading the next note.

We now return to Zen; we now leave Zen behind.

Now pay close attention: a single instant of your consciousness contains nothing else.

We now leave instantaneous enlightenment behind; we now return to instantaneous enlightenment.

Absolute Awareness is unconcerned about your possible entry into it, but feels ecstatic about your actual entry into it.

Your entire concept of “before” and “after” is basically just neurotic nonsense.

This statement does not come before or after this statement, so where do you place this statement in your mind?

Your completely fucked-up understanding of this way of talking implies that you do not perceive the exact manner in which you are fucking-up your possible transcendence of your on-going fuck-ups all throughout your different kinds of fucking, reading, eating, sleeping and fucking-up.

What degree of passionate intensity do you experience for this question?  Please decide this before you decide you should lurch into the next note.

What do you enjoy more than reading this note and why?
