You are seeking a teaching, a set of answers, that really works; but what does “really work” mean to you?  It means you want to open a channel to God, the Universe or some Great Person, that will give you an immediate Big Power, a Miracle, so that your sexual, financial or self-esteem problem will be immediately solved.  The Miracle you want is supposed to result in immense sexual indulgence, immense wealth or immense personal popularity, which means you no longer have to be lonely, frustrated or do unpleasant work.  But the Miracle you need is different.  This new, unknown Miracle is about you being able to enter into a higher level of being in yourself where sexual, financial or self-esteem problems no longer exist for you, where you no longer need to solve them, but discover how they are solved naturally and effortlessly because of your new oneness with God, the Universe or your own Real Self.

 

The Miracle you need is a decisive self-change where you are no longer imprisoned in old debilitating habits of your body and mind.  Your usual egomaniac reactions and futile ambitions simply stop.  Living and behaving from an enlightened space in yourself, you realize how much you were just drifting toward disease, old age and death with the stupid masses, with your heedless relatives and old friends.  You cease to conform to degeneration.  You find yourself studying truly great and wise teachings.  You enter into a truly transformational Yoga.  Your personal energy increases and your quantum kundalini power begins to rise up your central channel.  You begin to develop higher faculties and powers.  Your Innate Awareness unfolds and you find states of Superconsciousness becoming accessible.  You find yourself quietly, privately and anonymously walking out of the Human Jungle in favor of a truly superhuman new life.  You no longer participate in shallow Web forums or groups even about spiritual subjects.  You are no longer a witty, gossipy prisoner of meaningless social aspiration.  Instead you have a new, fascinating spiritual aspiration which you cannot possibly explain to your relatives or your usual friends or associates, so you don’t even try.  You then realize that your new purpose is itself the Great Miracle you needed most of all.  You realize that you no longer have to remain sunk down in the usual crap that everybody cultivates.  You can no longer stand the sickening noise and psychic vibrations of the city or the big town.  You begin to realize the real way of the Siddha of India or Tibet, the Sufi of Central Asia, the Immortal Taoist of China, the Nagual of Mexico.  You are no longer a merely titillated outsider of all that who does not know where to enter or with whom.

 

As you enter into the Miracle of Self-transformation, your sexuality discovers the Magical Gateway hidden in orgasm; your way of working and dealing with money and the world becomes more efficient, clear and successful; and, above all, you no longer look to ordinary society or pseudo-spiritual socializing for your self-esteem or sense of meaningful purpose.  You become a co-worker in the Divine Plan, which you are getting stronger and stronger glimpses of.  You are beginning to see how your liberation and higher development harmonize with all freedom and development on Earth and throughout the Universe.  You discover your own irreplaceable place in the Whole.  You are no longer caught in the delusion of becoming the Greatest This or the Greatest That.  Also, you begin to enter into telepathic communion with Superhuman People, both of the Earth and extraterrestrial from beyond the Earth.  The very meaning of Inner Guidance becomes rich, complex and mysterious in a new way.  The very meaning and presence of the Supreme Cosmic Guide, Guru or Teacher becomes an incredible discovery.  The petty dogmas of the world’s outer religions, traditions and philosophies can no longer contain you, seduce you or harass you.

 

All of this, when and as it dawns upon you, renders you silent toward the spiritual pretenders, whether New Age or traditional.  Their social maneuvers, meetings and claims no longer interest you.  You drop out of the whole Spiritual Scene, that entire cacophony of “healers”, “clairvoyants”, “scientific mystics” and self-authorized “spiritual guides”.  It no longer matters to you who is popular because you see popularity as the horribly superficial and misleading farce that it is.

 

You should now realize that Self-help is infinitely more than merely going beyond negative emotions or doing what you as an individual “really want to do”, though it certainly includes such beginner’s concepts or steps.  Self-help is Divine and Cosmic!  That people have to learn to stop being emotionally upset, physically tense or arrogantly intellectual is true, but such overcomings release energy for higher evolutionary possibilities.  Make sure you read Aurobindo, Idries Shah, Chögyam Trungpa and Carlos Castaneda or your “self-help” will be stuck on an undevelopmental level of petty and ignorant self-enclosed emotionalism of false individuality.  The extremely helpful teachings of Vernon Howard must not be made into an exclusive “self-help study group” cult!  There still remains the Big Picture of Self-liberation and Self-realization.  Self-help must be Total, Transcendental and Transformative.  You must discover and explore your entire Cosmic Castle and not just the entry hall of emotional self-help.

 

Now, invite the Miracle you need and stop hoping for the Miracle you want.
