TAKE NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Year Three
SESSION TWENTY-NINE

All sorts of philosophers, metaphysicians and mystics make profound statements about Time and Space that are supposed to wow us, to make us feel intellectually impressed.  They assume that we, like them, are heavily concerned about Time and Space. So, I am asking you: Are Time and Space important?  Decide about this before you go to the next Note.

If you are a subject considering Time as an object, then you are yourself by definition Timeless; and if you are a subject considering Space as an object, then you are yourself by definition Spaceless.  Does it seem meaningful or important to you that you are Timeless and Spaceless?  Decide about this before you go to the next Note.

What if Time and Space are not really objective?  What if, as Kant says, Time and Space are innate properties of your consciousness?  Decide if this is meaningful or important for you before you go to the next Note.

Your life or time as a body on your planet carries on with both an outer space filled with the world and an inner space filled with your motives, feelings, imaginings, thoughts and perspectives. Since all this seems to be ontic or normal everyday experience, is there any cause for concern or extraordinary interest?  Decide about this before the next Note.

There is Matter, Energy, Space and Time; M.E.S.T.  Scientific philosophy gets itself all worked up about such concepts in their brains as Scientific Philosophers.  Are you interested in Scientific Philosophy?  If so, why?  If not, why not?  Decide about this before you attend the next Note Session.
