There is a place within yourself where you very rarely go, except perhaps after death after awhile after exhausting the subtle mind in the prolonged good or bad dream that death is. But you can look deeper within yourself even now, if you can feel the serious need for it.  And do not try to find yourself there in accordance with some tradition or philosophy.  Look directly into the heart and core of your being and see what happens.  And do it immediately or not at all!  Just a glimpse.  Then go on to the next note.   That glimpsing experience can plant an indispensable seed for your future development.

This note, just like any other, is useless if it does not help you see more clearly how your mind works, including the kind of motivations that take possession of it from obscure sources within your body and the surrounding world of insane and stupid humanity.  Be clear about this before you go into the next note.

This note is a fresh opportunity for you to pause and reflect on the quality of your awareness when you try to pause and reflect. Do you know, for instance, how to get better at pausing-and-reflecting so that it does something more real?  Think carefully about this before the next note.

There is no reason to worry or get upset just because you are missing something obvious about this note.   However, you should try to not be in a hurry about going to the next note.
