We will now discuss your approach to sex, to daily work, to your attempts to study spiritual or philosophical books and your way of relating (or failing to relate) with a teacher or guide of superior wisdom and intelligence.  Look carefully, deeply, totally and immediately at the essence of your approach in these four crucial areas.  If you have to, re-read this note to make sure you are serious about your development.

If you are a little concerned and confused about your present approach to crucial areas of your life, pause for a few moments with the idea in your mind of, “Can I afford to carry on like this?”  Then go on to the next note.
