Would you like to know why you are unable to recognize and learn from an advanced spiritual guide who is significantly beyond your present level of personal evolution or maturity?  It is because your secondary personality, which is composed of your brain and your self-enclosed emotional turmoil, fears it would undergo punishment or even extinction in submitting to a real learning situation.  That is why you always oppose a mature individual by pretending that you “desire to understand” or that you are “having difficulty understanding” or that you are “too confused and out-of-touch with yourself” to make any clear spiritual commitment to the necessary learning process.  You have therefore never received the principle that says: “If you yourself do not cause difficulties, difficulties will not be caused for you.”

Extremely mature individuals are always present on the planet. A significant teacher is always there for someone like yourself to make a real connection with.  The real issue therefore is not the teacher, but the quality of your desire to learn.  Real learners will be taught, but false learners develop doubts, confusions and turmoil over this or that wrongly selected “teacher” even if the teacher is real, he or she is inevitably approached with nonsense that prevents actual learning and development.  The true teacher will always divest far more “disciples” than he keeps.  As for those who try to attract and retain as large a number of students as possible, such teachers are false and so are the students.  Such false students are the ones that become disgruntled “ex-disciples” who often try to preach “freedom from all teachers” to anyone who will listen to their shallow nonsense.
