Virtually all of our Note-readers desire to achieve spiritual breakthroughs and higher states.  They will pursue such aims not in the way that such higher developments can take place, but in ways which give them certain satisfactions or a sense of personal security, confidence or social self-importance.  These ways of commonly approaching spirituality become actual barriers to real development.
