Notes are not what they used to be and this note proves it in a very subtle way.

This note has absolutely nothing to do with the last note or the next note.  Your job here is to make a clean break between the past and the future.  Will you do this?  Or, will you play your usual brain game of self-deception?  It is obvious that you are still doing something stupid about both the last note and the next. You will not focus the clear present.  You cannot stop yourself from mechanical time-pressure.  You are confusing yourself about this note.  It is because of your refusal to be aware of the living present that the next note is upon you already.  You are now being rushed into the next note.

This note is simply the present note, which is now concluded, so let go of it!

This note tried to boost your intelligence.  The next note will also fail, but you should probably read it anyway.

There is no point in trying to allow this note to boost your intelligence because it was always destined to fail.

This note is being written in Fontainebleau in France at Gurdjieff’s grave, but it will also fail to boost your intelligence.
