Twenty-five years ago I deliberately created a temporary spiritual cult that I also systematically destroyed.  One memory stands out: I would write something like a Note and pass it around the table to a large group of would-be students.  Each would react in some way while the others would watch that person read and react.  After passing around a few “live” Notes in that fashion, having attempted to stimulate the intelligence of those people, I would invite questions about the issues raised. Generally, those people would just blankly stare and ask no questions; or if someone would ask a question, the question would be so superficial, phony and useless that nothing would be gained for anyone by going into it.  So mostly there was just this sickening dullness of staring, like a group of human vegetables.  They were endlessly willing and eager to gather together to be stimulated, to be entertained or even put to work, but were utterly incapable of learning.  The majority of my readers here on the Web are essentially no different than those old cult participants.  They are spiritually dead.  If challenged, they will stare dumbly like human vegetables.  The only difference is that I do not have to personally process their draining and futile physical presence.  What does all this tell you?  If you are able to impress and gather some followers, are you prepared to pay the price?  If you already have a group of followers, then you will continue to pay the price until you have seen what they are really like.  One thing is for sure: they are never going to see what they are really like, whether they remain with you, leave you or you send them away.  On the planet Earth, human vegetables are virtually all that can be gathered together for any purpose.  That they can be hypnotized (brainwashed and brain-conditioned) is not the real problem.  That they usually cannot be dehypnotized is the real problem.  Only one reader of this note in a thousand will wake up at all.  This includes those who imagine they are teachers.
