TAKE NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Year Two
SESSION TWO HUNDRED AND
FORTY-ONE

This note is about what kind of being you actually are.  You have conscious sensations, emotional states and associative thinking combined with daydreams, nightmares and unconscious, timeless periods of deep, dark sleep.  Right?  That pretty well sums it all up, does it not?  O.K., so that settles it.  Go on to the next note.  Your investigation of your being is just not going anywhere.  Too bad, but you are all too human, we are sorry to say.  But, hey, why get upset?  You are still alive; you can eat food, have sex and do your work.  That’s what matters, isn’t it?

This note is about genuine ontological inquiry, so you better forget about it and go on to the next note.

This note is about detached, choiceless awareness of your present state of mind.  You obviously need to put this behind you now and go on to the next note.

A group of Cheyenne Amerindians are doing the old heartbeat drumming and yelling out “Hey, hey, hey, ya, hey, hey, hey, ya” and the like.  Some stupid white people are taking a T.V. video recording of it on their vacation in Montana.  They find it quaint and sort of romantic.  How would you describe the actual state of both the Amerindians and the tourists?  Then go on to the next note.

A group of Sami people in Lapland are singing some native songs.  Some Japanese tourists are taking a T.V. video recording of it on their vacation in Sweden and Norway.  They find the Sami people quaint and sort of romantic.  What do you now see is really going on there?  Try Assemblage Point Theory.

Now picture an American man, a Japanese woman, an Amerindian man and a Sami woman having an all-out four-way sex orgy in a hotel room in Copenhagen, Denmark.  What do you see as the real meaning of that event in relation to the two previous notes?
