TAKE NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Year Two
SESSION ONE HUNDRED AND
FIFTY-NINE

The human brain is constantly pumping out its calculations, arrangements or daydreams in reaction to whatever incoming events or information it is receiving.   This particular note might even trigger something in your brain that becomes part of what is called the stream of consciousness.   What is possibly the most shocking for the brain is that it appears to have no real choice about what it is going to do.  The next note will explore this problem a little more extensively if you are interested.

Here you are at this note’s fleeting presence in your stream of consciousness.  Extensive exploration of all this is quite obviously not going to happen.   Perhaps you will want to go to the next note with a working concept of your cognitive helplessness.

Picture yourself walking in a remote forest where you come upon a group of aliens seated on some chairs around a huge silver ball.  You ask them why they are there and if they are going to abduct you.  One of them says, “Relax, we are not interested in you at all.  Your encounter with us is just an accident, a coincidence for your stupid little mind.  We advise you to turn around and go back without getting all worked up about this chance encounter with us.”  You are now ready for the next note.

This note is also a kind of accidental encounter that is best forgotten about so you can get on with your life.  Good luck to you as your brain bubbles along.
