SESSION FIFTY-EIGHT

It is time that we return to the theme of new readers who try to experience or assess these note sessions without the advantage of the previous sessions.  Such readers become like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

 

Only a totally foolish, arrogant and futile reader will automatically assume they are not such a reader of this.

 

Only a totally wise, humble and useful reader will not automatically assume they are such a reader of this.

 

Self-assessment of your actual level of consciousness and evolution of your ability to read and understand this kind of thing will not be easy for you.

 

Try working with the idea, right here and right now in this very note, that your learning process needs more seriously questioned than ever before in your life.

 

In modern times on the planet Earth, most educated people have heard the clever turn of words, “learning how to learn”.  More than one book has been published from disparate sources with this clever, fetching title.  For some, such as would-be Sufis, it has become a tired old slogan based on the teachings of a departed teacher.  How, therefore, would you rephrase the concept of “learning how to learn” without losing the original true meaning?  Please do this for yourself before going on to the next note.

 

Beginning again and again to learn in a new way can be excruciatingly difficult and confusing, but certainly never boring. Would you agree with this assessment?

 

The teachings of those Sufis may have some slightly useful connection with what you need to do about all this, but this in no way recommends a rigid affiliation with them or us.  Are you prepared to investigate?

 

The Way of the Sufis cannot be directly studied any longer in America or Britain without being accused of being a “Muslim terrorist”.  Such is the nature of mankind on this, our savage planet Earth.  People are being taught in fact to eschew such studies or anything remotely resembling them.  They will therefore never have certain prerequisite elements that should be included in their evolutionary learning process, which implies a tragic deterioration of their potential.  So their personal evolution is being sacrificed by the demonization of Islamic culture so that America , Britain and Israel can seize oil reserves in the Middle East.  Now, the question becomes:  What are you learning the most from this very situation?

 

The days of the romantic “search in the East” are over.  The old useful situations have been dismantled and comparable ones have failed to emerge in America , Europe or elsewhere.  Real learning has become individually isolated and ineffectual everywhere on Earth.  What is your remedy for this state of affairs?

 

Most readers of all this on Earth who make it to this website are generally unaware of and insensitive to their shared evolutionary crisis.  The efforts to awaken them here are not doing very well. Our extraterrestrial readers have observed this sad fact.  The planet Earth has become a darkened, tortured world of outright anti-learning or “dumbing down” as some intelligent Americans are calling it.
