TAKE  NOTE OF SOMETHING DIFFERENT
 

SESSION ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR

The new reader should seriously consider beginning with session one.  The usual reader should seriously consider reading this note in a non-usual way.  The brain of the usual reader should not consider anything at all.

 

If you could not stop your brain from misinterpreting this note, you can undo the damage by refusing to remember it.  Just get fully into the next note and put this note about your brain behind you so that your brain cannot think about your opinion of it.

 

If you would like to take a fresh step in all this, step outside for a minute and picture the word “sky” written in the sky.

 

Do not allow your brain to create any interpretations or associations about the “sky” note.

 

Picture your brain becoming so quiet and clear that it no longer forces you to call it your “brain”, but allows you to see that it has always been something else.

 

Picture that your brain has been removed by some extraterrestrial surgeons and replaced by something resembling a crystal ball with thin, barely visible little lines all through it. Try to experience what kind of altered perceptions you might have with it before you read the next note.

 

You are not hallucinating.

 

You are beginning to get a foretaste of alien states of cognition. But do not under any circumstances start straining at it or you will hurt yourself.  So give up the ball-in-the-head and return to a normal reading of the next note.

 

Do you call this “normal”?

 

This alien note actually requires your crystal ball brain exercise to be extended through seeing the thin lines moving all through your surroundings as if everything were in your head.  In fact, everything is in your head anyway, but now you can find out how it works.  But again, do not overly strain.

 

You have been having a little glimpse of the architecture of cognition by means of alien-assisted direct intuition.  But now it is time to put all these experiments behind you and reactivate your neurotic normal brain and its tiny, silly opinions before lurching into the next note.

 

Think now of your favourite ways of enjoying sex, food and violent American movies.  Once you are feeling restless for one of the above activities, go on to your destined encounter with the next note.
