We are not giving up on your potential Cosmic Enlightenment through all this if you aren’t giving up.  Do you understand why you had to be told this just now?

Repeat the following statement in your mind to yourself and watch what happens: 
“I can’t repeat this in a way that gets a result.  Is something wrong?”

Once, years ago, I had high hopes for Notes on the Web, but the very way the visitors regard them has caused a sad reduction of expectations.  It is amazing how many visitors here either feel emotionally inadequate or intellectually superior.  Perhaps you might be willing to take a quick, honest glimpse at how you are part of the problem.  Are you one of the “inadequate” types or one of the “superior” types?
