We really know something only when we know it directly within ourselves from our own original thinking and experiencing, when we need no supporting quotations from external accepted authorities, and when we need no confirmations or recognitions from others.

          The objective of our own self-realization is not to activate impressive personal powers, nor is it to be able to dominate others with our greater knowledge and experience.  It is not to be miraculous nor to have crowds of people beating drums, singing our praises and striving to see or touch us personally.  Any hidden tendency of this nature must be wholly rooted out of our heart or it will cause our objectively cosmic aspiration to rot in the mud of superficial humanity.

          It is urgently important that we set aside our usual questions and confusions, which means we must learn to suspend our clever selfishness.  We must learn to ask that one unusual question that turns our universe upside down even before we receive a prospective answer.  Such a question will be the first dawning of an awesome and seemingly impossible answer.

          We must see for ourselves what modern technological materialism has done to us.  It has made us schizophrenic, split and fragmented in our inner life.  Yet somewhere deep within us a hidden seed of unity, of oneness, still survives and wants to grow.  Though the outer conditioning and bad habits are destroying our outer mental and physical personal existence, the true centre remains untouched and capable of conscious self-realization.  But we must see directly what a hell ordinary life has become on Earth.  We must learn to take off our mask and shed our ordinary, fragmented and schizophrenic self.  All those oscillating inner voices of “Yes” and then “No” and back to “Yes” and yet again back to “No” have to be silenced.  All inner division, all self-contradiction, must be suspended.  We must learn to hear what our real inner voice is telling us to do, which means we must learn to do only what is real and alive and connected to the unfolding of higher direct experiencing.

          There is only one real solution to our confusion about our higher development and self-realization.  We must concentrate absolutely on nothing but direct self-awakening beyond all social and relative spiritual aims and occult achievements.  We must go completely beyond intellectual formulations of “universal truth” and the trashing of what we call “limited belief systems”.  Direct self-awakening is not a clever intellectual game for the material brain to play.  Superficial scientific thinking cannot touch it.

          The world of New Age idealism, as well as the world of contemporary science and deconstructive philosophy, are filled with illusions and social considerings that have nothing whatsoever to do with direct self-realization or genuinely healthy well-being.  All the present fads of influencing and exciting superficially socialized people are spiritually bankrupt.  It is all veiling direct self-awakening and covering up the cosmic truth of our real predicament here on this planet.  No vainglorious spiritual fame seeker or brilliant material brain has any relevance whatsoever to our necessary self-awakening.

          We need only such information, teachings and answers that indicate emphatically the necessity for us to tap directly into Divine and Cosmic Superconsciousness in our own self.  Nothing but the highest cycle of research and realization should concern us in all this.  We must learn to give up our worldly worries, probings and speculations about what neurotic, immature and materially desperate people are going to do about their stupid “decisions”, “commitments”, or “what they really want” (with us or without us).  We must focus on the highest meaning of life, not on the ordinary people who are avoiding that meaning.  We all get the fruits of what we concentrate on.  If we concentrate on Cosmic Consciousness, we develop Cosmic Consciousness; if we concentrate on ignorant and foolish people, we extend our own ignorance and reinforce our own foolishness.
