The body can sit, but consciousness cannot sit.  By the same token, consciousness can meditate, but the Godself does not meditate.  “Sitting in meditation” is therefore filled with ignorant assumptions and self-deceptions about body and mind, about consciousness and Self.

To make the body and breathing quiet can help reveal the mind.  To make the consciousness quiet can reveal the Self.  Hence there is Hathayoga and Rajayoga.

There is a total quietude, a silence, on all levels of our Being.  It is something extremely intense.  I personally call it Kundalini Silence.  It is pure free will of My Godself, Swatantrya.  It is the means beyond all means, the ultimate spiritual technique beyond all spiritual techniques.  Tilopa and Krishnamurti have spoken of it, as has Osho Rajneesh.

Kundalini Silence is an effortless effort of supreme concentration.  It gives rise to heightened awareness.  It is to be kept alive when walking, standing, sitting or lying down.  It is the essence of Zen Practice Without Practice.  To identify it with physical sitting or mental meditation is to lose it.

Think what you are trying to accomplish in your most private direct experiencing.  If you see the beauty and life in the sky and the trees, no one sees it for you.  Your awareness-of-being is yours and no one can reveal it to you but you.  Your presence in the Here and Now is yours.  Your inner life is yours; your love and your sorrow over a loss are yours; your understandings and higher intuitions are yours.  Your inmost Being is yours.  You can look into all this as deeply and directly as you like.

Much more than “sitting in meditation” is required for Godself Awakening, Atma-Bodha.  Centering on the Divine level of being is the Great Essence; action from the Divine level of being is the Great Action.  Genuine naturalness and spontaneity are therefore crucial to our well-being, our health and happiness.

Oneness-with-God, total listening within the Supreme Spirit of Guidance, is the Star of Godself within your own Being.  Kundalini Silence is your own True Will and the Source of Miraculous Power.  It is the ultimate refuge from all pain, sorrow and anguish.
